Four fishing lakes in the Isle of Wight are due to go under the hammer at Clive Emson’s July auction later this month.
The lakes, on a 6.29-hectare wildlife haven near Newport, are to be sold on a freehold basis at a guide price of between £180,000 and £200,000.
They form just one of 124 lots being catalogued by Clive Emson for the fifth sale of the year, which takes place from 22-26 July across five venues in Chelmsford, Maidstone, Brighton, Saltash and Whiteley. An online auction will take place on 1 August.
Clive Emson managing director James Emson said that despite the current market uncertainty, the auction house was seeing a greater variety of properties and land coming through its doors.
“This month our lots range from a substantial site with residential planning consent guided at £1.3m, a managed business centre at £2.1m and a former care home listed at £1m to a holiday apartment guided at £15,000 and woodland at £8,000,” he said.
