Fitzrovia on the menu for Villandry

Philippe Le Roux’s Villandry is in advanced talks to open a site at 2 Fitzroy Place in Fitzrovia, W1.


The restaurant group is poised to sign a long-term lease for a 1,800 sq ft deli-style shop at the 80,000 sq ft development.


 It will be Villandry’s third London building, adding to sites in St James’s and Great Portland Street.


The property, due to complete in Q4, sits on Exemplar’s, Aviva Investors’ and Kaupthing’s Fitzroy Place scheme.


Restaurant rents in the area are typically around £60 per sq ft.


CBRE and Nash Bond are advising on the retail space; Cushman & Wakefield is representing Villandry.
