Five of Birmingham’s most prominent agency partners have quit their jobs to start their own niche retail practice in the city.
In one of the largest defections in the city this year, Johnson Fellows’ head of high street retail, Jonathan Rowley, and colleague Barry Muggridge, along with investment partners Marcus Jordan and David Thompson have left JF.
Ian Hughes, retail partner at King Sturge, has also quit his job
to join the start-up.
The new practice is to be called Rowley Hughes Thompson and will start trading in the new year, with its emphasis on high street retail, shopping centres and investment and asset management UK-wide.
