Five-storey Bayswater house and Penny Lane wine bar among star lots at AHL sale

A converted five-storey Victorian stucco terraced house in Bayswater with planning consent to be turned back into a single family home is offered in Auction House London’s latest catalogue, with a guide of £3.75m.

The property, on Alexander Street, W2, close to Hyde Park, is currently arranged as four self-contained flats.

It received planning consent in 2014 to be converted back into a single house and for a ground floor extension.

The house is one of 137 properties due to go under the hammer at AHL’s 25 March sale at the London Marriott, Regents Park, NW3.

Other major lots in the catalogue include: a wine bar with two flats above it on Penny Lane in Liverpool – the road made famous by the Beatles’ 1967 hit – which is guided at £230,000 and currently receives an annual income of £14,184; and an end-of-terrace building in Tottenham, N17, arranged as six flats, which is guided at £1.4m.
