Flamingo Land’s plans for a Loch Lomond resort have once again drawn the ire of heritage groups and locals.
The Yorkshire-based theme park company has reapplied for planning for a 60-bedroom hotel, 127 self-catering lodges, a swimming pool and a water park, as well as cafés, restaurants and shops.
But the National Trust for Scotland has submitted a letter of objection, saying the scheme will harm ancient woodland and existing businesses.
Flamingo Land withdrew its first planning application in 2019 after more than 55,000 people objected.
