Sunrise Real Estate has secured Flooring Superstore as an occupier at Integra 61 development in Durham.
The deal, spanning 63,000 sq ft of logistics space at the Connect 63 building, was signed on a 10-year term. It will be used by Flooring Superstore as one of its primary nationwide distribution hubs.
Integra 61 is the industrial, logistics and manufacturing location in the North East, adjacent to junction 61 of the A1(M). The scheme is made up of five facilities extending to 640,000 sq ft, with individual buildings ranging in size from 43,000 sq ft to 298,000 sq ft.
Jenny Wang, chief operating officer and head of asset management at Sunrise Real Estate, said: “This latest letting to Flooring Superstore further underscores the strong occupier appetite we are seeing for high-quality, sustainable logistics space in the North East.”
Nick Bisicker, chief logistics officer at Flooring Superstore, said: “This move enables us to expand sustainably and offer our warehouse staff better working environments – it is a win for both our people and our business.”
Avison Young and CBRE are acting as agents on the Integra 61 scheme.
