Florida compound could be most expensive US home sale

A nine-acre compound on the Florida coast could become the most expensive residential property sold in the US.

Gordon Pointe, which comprises three houses, a 231ft yacht basin and mooring for six boats, 400,000 sq ft of land, 708ft of beachfront and 952ft of bay views over the Gulf of Mexico, has been put on the market at $295m.

Savills has been tasked by the vendor, billionaire financier John Donahue, with looking at international buyers for the site.
