Food hub nod for Intu’s Victoria Centre

Victoria Centre Clock Tower BIG

Intu’s plans for a catering cluster at the Victoria centre in Nottingham were today given planning approval.

The plans – which form part of a £40m investment scheme in the centre – will see 12 new catering units created over two floors.

The proposal also includes a feature entrance around the Grade II listed Clock Tower in the centre of the scheme.

Work will start in 2014.

Intu has development plans for the Broadmarsh centre, alongside an extension to the Victoria Centre which is awaiting approval from Nottingham city council.
