Trainer retailer Footasylum has returned to London’s Oxford Street with plans for a new flagship store.
The chain is to open a new 20,000 sq ft, two-storey shop at 73-89 Oxford Street in the second half of this year.
It follows the announcement earlier this month that HMV would be re-opening its flagship store on the street, replacing one of the many American candy stores that have started to dominate the location.
The opening will form part of a wider expansion plan for Footasylum, which also recently announced plans to open a 6,000 sq ft store in the Atria Watford shopping centre and to expand its stores in Westfield Stratford and Lakeside shopping centre in Essex.
