Industrial landlord Formaction has let almost a third of its 49,500 sq ft former Linpac site in Abercarn, South Wales, to Amec Group.
Amec has taken a refurbished 16,000 sq ft unit together with yard at the Prince of Wales Industrial Estate on a 10-year lease with a 5-year break option at an initial yearly rental of £55,000, rising to £65,000 by the third year.
James Perry, Director of letting agent Lambert Smith Hampton, said, “This letting means that the property is now virtually fully let, with only one unit of approximately 8,000 sq ft remaining.
“Formaction’s refurbishment was comprehensive and all of the units are completely self-contained.
“The fact that they were able to offer the yard, secured the letting to Amec.”
Formaction acquired the dated industrial property on 2.69 acres from Linpac for £625,000 late last year.
