Sefton and Formby Developments is to lodge proposals for the expansion of Formby Business Park in Merseyside.
The 23-acre site comprises a series of fields with boundary hedgerows and drainage ditches.
The developer has requested a screening opinion from Sefton Council with regards to the delivery of circa 290,000 sq ft of offices and warehouses, including car parking and servicing facilities.
The scheme also includes the construction of 23,000 sq ft of retail space and 26,000 sq ft of health and fitness facilities.
The firm is looking to submit detailed plans later this year. If approved, building works are expected to start towards the end of next year. The scheme will be delivered in phases over a period of at least three years.
