Former BHS store and nightclub turned into food halls

The remainder of the space in the former BHS store on Oxford Street, W1, is to be transformed into one of the UK’s largest food halls.

The new site will be the flagship of one of three new food hall destinations in the capital called Market Hall and will be run by restaurateur and Pitt Cue founder Simon Anderson and property investor Andy Lewis Pratt.

The former BHS store will be the largest of the three sites.

BHS ceased trading in 2016 and Polish fashion brand Reserved took 32,000 sq ft and opened in autumn 2017.

Market Hall West End will occupy 36,000 sq ft and include 25 kitchens, four bars, 10 food stalls and an event space. It is due to open this autumn.

It will also open in Fulham Broadway Tube station, SW6, in an Edwardian entrance space that has been unused since 2003.

The hall, due to open in April, will occupy 10,00 sq ft and include 10 kitchens and a bar.

The third site will be in Victoria, SW1, and will occupy the former Pacha nightclub at Terminus Place. This 14,000 sq ft space will include 14 kitchens and three bars and is due to open this summer.
