SEGRO has appointed NorthCroft Capital co-founder and ex-BlackRock head of real estate Marcus Sperber as an independent non-executive director, with effect from 1 May.
Sperber is also a non-executive director of Cadillac Fairview, Savills and Fiera Real Estate.
At BlackRock, Sperber held a number of senior executive roles between 2002 and 2019, latterly working as managing director and head of global real estate.
In 2020, Sperber co-founded NorthCroft Capital, where he provides strategic business advice to institutional capital and real estate businesses.
SEGRO chair Andy Harrison said: “Sperber has extensive experience in the real estate and investment management industry both in the UK and Continental Europe. This, together with his relevant board experience, will benefit our board.”
