Former Blair Kirkman trio quit Savills

Three former Blair Kirkman staff are quitting Savills.

Retail agents David Jinks, David Justice and Nick Symons will all leave the company. It is thought they plan to set up their own firm.

Savills is understood to have been locked in negotiations with five members of its retail team, also including Dan Kent and Kay Harriman. It is understood that the pair will now remain at the firm.

Chris Blair, founder of Blair Kirkman, remains national head of retail and leisure agency at Savills.

Savills has lost a number of staff since buying retail business Blair Kirkman in March 2006 for £10m.

They include partners Ben Tyack and Jeremy Elphick, who left to join Knight Frank; director Iain Coxon who left to join CB Richard Ellis; partner Toby Comerford who returned to Cushman & Wakefield; and partner Rob Williams, who joined Strutt & Parker.
