Former CBRE boss joins Ringley Group

Residential asset and property manager the Ringley Group has appointed former CBRE EMEA and APAC chair Martin Samworth as a strategic adviser and non-executive director.

Samworth will focus on supporting the growth and development of the group’s stake in the living sectors, the asset management, operational oversight and property management parts of the business.

In particular, he will concentrate on the further evolution of Ringley’s technology capability, which comprises its vertically integrated, end-to-end, living platform PlanetRent.

Ringley founder Mary-Anne Bowring said: “It’s great to have Martin on board to help us capitalise on his market knowledge, contacts and insights to optimise our service offering to our clients and to help the Ringley Group’s Una Living brand become the operational delivery partner of choice across all living sectors, as well as to enable our tech platform to take on its own journey worldwide.”

Samworth will work alongside group chief executive Richard Williams, Russell Markou, head of living strategy and operations, and interim CTO Jonathan Greensted.

Ringley Group has more than £12bn of assets under management comprising some 16,500 homes.
