Foster pays chief £2.2m to go

Foster+Partners, the architecture firm behind HSBC’s HQ in Canary Wharf and London’s City Hall, has paid its chief executive £2.2m to step down.

Mouzhan Majidi, who joined the firm in 1987 and was appointed chief executive in 2007, resigned in March this year after a restructure replaced his position with a managing partner.
