All but five lots were sold at Fox & Sons’ sale at Eastbourne Town Hall on November 26, raising a total of £371,500.
Auctioneer John Coleman said: “This was our ninth sale this year – the results were par for the course.” Most popular were repossessions of small flats, which typically sold at about 20% above their reserves. A leasehold first-floor one-bedroom flat at 26 West Hill Road, St Leonards on Sea, fetched £14,000 – 30% more than its reserve.
Two lower-ground-floor leasehold flats at 9a Perth Road, St Leonards on Sea and 35 Enys Road, Eastbourne, sold in the room for £13,000 and £15,750 respectively.
