Frasers’ new property player boss could net £100m bonus

The new boss of Frasers could be handed a £100m incentive when he takes over from Mike Ashley.

Property dealer Michael Murray, the retail group’s current head of elevation, will be paid an annual salary of £1m when he succeeds his father-in-law in May next year.

But he will also receive £100m in stock if the company’s share price hits £15 for 30 consecutive trading days before 7 October 2025.

Frasers said: “The board believes that the significant increase in value of the shares to be achieved before Michael’s share option award vests is suitably challenging but achievable and would be evidence of the success of the group’s elevation strategy and Michael’s leading role in this.”
