Specialist factory outlet operator Freeport is to double the size of its Fleetwood centre in Lancashire.
Wyre council has given Freeport permission to add 125,000 sq ft (11,612 sq m) to the existing 117,290 sq ft (10,900 sq m) Fleetwood Harbour Village scheme.
The anchor tenant is British Home Stores.
Work on site will begin this autumn unless the Government Office for the North West calls in the application, says planning consultant Gerald Eve.
Freeport Leisure operates outlets at Braintree in Essex, at Castlefield in Manchester and in Scotland.
