Fremantle seeks to put X on new Midtown HQ

FremantleMedia, the entertainment company behind the X Factor – on which Rihanna performed last week – is on the hunt for a new 50,000 sq ft Midtown HQ.

It has appointed niche agent REM Roberts to help it find a new building by mid 2013. The new space will house staff leaving the 22,500 sq ft 20-22 Newman Street, W1, which Fremantle sold to Newman Assets for conversion to a hotel.

Fremantle will use the space for its Talkback subsidiary, which produces shows including Celebrity Juice. The company will retain its 104,000 sq ft office at Derwent London’s 1 Stephen Street, W1.
