The University of Lincoln with the Lincolnshire Co-0p has submitted plans for the next phase of development at Lincoln Science & Innovation Park.
The plans update consent received in 2017 for a 5.36-acre site and propose eight buildings and 270 car parking spaces. The buildings range in size from 6,200 sq ft to 35,530 sq ft and together total some 110,000 sq ft. They will be designed for a mix of uses, including offices, labs and workshops.
Two buildings in the phase are already under construction as part of the previous consent and are not included in this latest application.
Lincoln Science & Innovation Park was founded by the University of Lincoln and Lincolnshire Co-op to create a world-class environment for research and innovation in the heart of the city. Some £25m has already been invested in the regeneration of the site with more than 1.3m sq ft of renovated and purpose-built space created.
