Two retail and leisure agents at Chester-based Legat Owen have quit the firm to set up a niche Liverpool agency named Emanuel Oliver.
Head of retail Llyr Emanuel and associate director Dan Oliver will launch with nine shopping centre and retail instructions in the North West and Wales. Retailers Costa, Heron and Mococo have also retained the pair to acquire space across the region.
Emanuel said: “As the property market improves and changes, we decided now was the right time to create a niche agency. We also felt that Liverpool was the perfect location for us to service our client base.”
The launch of Emanuel Oliver, which will be based at
1 Old Hall Street, comes after Lambert Smith Hampton bought Manchester-based Tushingham Moore in April in a bid to increase its presence in the North West retail market.
Emanuel and Oliver worked at Legat Owen for 11 and nine years respectively. Prior to this Emanuel held positions at Kenney Moore and Chestertons, while Oliver worked at Cushman & Wakefield.
