Salford-based developer FreshStart Living has announced plans for a £6.9m student accommodation scheme in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
FreshStart plans to convert Colonnade Hall, a 1960s office block, which was formerly occupied by home credit firm Provident Financial, into a scheme comprising 200 student bedrooms.
It will start on site next January, for completion next spring.
Stuart Cook, acquisitions manager at FreshStart Living, said: “Student property is an asset class that rarely becomes available to individual investors and student rentals have remained robust with a recorded yearly growth of five% over the past six years.”
