Former Investec chief executive Bradley Fried is to head the family office of South African billionaire Nathan Kirsh.
A member of Bank of England’s court of directors, Fried will be the new chief executive of Kirsh Group, whose $6.2bn business includes US grocery wholesale, commercial and residential property on four continents.
He will start in November and takes over from Ron Sandler, former chief executive of Lloyd’s of London.
Sandler will remain a trustee and adviser to the family.
