Friends Provident has netted more than £10m from property sales in Northern Ireland and Scotland.
The firm sold the 10,386 sq m (111,790 sq ft) Ferguson Royston House at Wellington Place, Belfast to a Dublin-based consortium for £9.4m in a deal representing a yield of 10.5%.
In Scotland, Friends Provident Life Assurance Limited Commercial Fund sold a 232 sq m (2,500 sq ft) terraced shop in Falkirk to the Merchant Navy Ratings Pension Fund Trustees for £715,000, a yield of 7.4%.
Richard Ellis Gunne and Alexander Kinnaird & Son represented FP Property Services on behalf of Friends Provident in the Ulster deal, the purchaser was represented by Lisney and advised by Farrell Grant Sparks. In Scotland, FPPS and Eric Young advised FPLAL, while Rydens acted for the buyer.
