Logistics and distribution company, Fritz Distribution, has taken 13,006 sq m (140,000 sq ft) for a distribution base at the 56.7ha (140 acres) Crosspoint mixed-use scheme in Coventry.
The warehouse will be situated on the 8.5ha (21 acres) industrial element of the scheme, alongside the M6/M69 motorways. The company is believed to be paying a rent of between £51 to £54 per sq m (£4.74 to £5.00 per sq ft).
Developers ProLogis Developments and Legal & General are also looking to sign up tenants on a prelet basis for two units totalling 7,107 sq m (76,500 sq ft), which have just gained detailed consent.
Janson & Partners acted for Fritz Distribution. King Sturge, North Rae Sanders and Lambert Smith Hampton are letting agents for Crosspoint.
