Frogmore’s David Cullingford joins Cathedral Group

Mixed-use developer and investor Cathedral Group has strengthened its management team with a second hiring from Frogmore Estates.

David Cullingford (pictured), an executive director of Frogmore Developments since 1997, has rejoined ex-Frogmore man Paul Isaacs, who became Cathedral’s managing director in July 2002.

Isaacs said Cullingford’s commercial development skills would complete Cathedral’s management. Chairman Barry Bennett and chief executive Richard Upton come from residential backgrounds, as does Isaacs.

“David’s skill set is critical,” said Isaacs.

Cathedral recently unveiled its redevelopment of Devonport House in Greenwich. It has turned a redundant Grade II-listed building into accommodation for 128 students and a 101-bed hotel and conference centre.

It is currently on site with a £60m PPP deal to build a fire station for Canary Wharf and east London together with 174 apartments.
