Hong Kong residents are buying up property in London at more than double the rate of previous years.
Sales to Hongkongers in Q1 of 2021have risen by 144% since the prime minister announced a new path to British citizenship for British national overseas passport holders.
Residents of the former colony now account for 4% of home sales in London, up from 1% in the same period in the previous year.
The properties include 270 in prime central areas and 1,932 across London, according to the estate agency Benham and Reeves.
