Romulus has bought Metroinvest’s 10 Dominion Street, EC2, for £23m. The Fulham-based developer and investor is planning to refurbish the 31,000 sq ft vacant office building.
The building was previously under offer to Hong Kong-based investor KaiLong, but the firm failed to meet the deadline to acquire the property.
Romulus has not yet appointed leasing agents on the scheme, which is expected to be ready for occupation by the end of 2016.
The deal marks Romulus’ first City acquisition since it bought 30 Cannon Street, EC4, from Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management in 2008 for around £32.8m.
The 74,255 sq ft office building has been refurbished, and has 12,350 sq ft available on the third floor and 9,430 sq ft on the fifth floor. JLL is the leasing agent on the scheme.
JLL advised Metroinvest; Romulus was unrepresented.
