Mohammed Al Fayed’s Fulham Football Club has submitted revised plans for a redevelopment of its Craven Cottage stadium in west London.
The latest application includes a reduction in the stadium’s height and width; fewer apartments housed in a stand-alone block to the north; a more sympathetic design incorporating the stadium’s listed façade; and realignment of the river wall.
Fulham hopes to get a decision on the 30,000-seat stadium from Fulham & Hammersmith council by the autumn.
The ambitious Division One club also submitted a full environmental statement to support its application in the latest stage of this long-running saga.
