Fulham Shore, which owns the Franco Manca and Real Greek brands, warned of a slowdown in trading in July and August, particularly for its restaurants in London’s suburbs.
The company said it believed it was a sector-wide trading pattern and not unique to its brands. In response to the slowdown, its landlords are offering incentives to sign leases, chairman David Page said.
Fulham Shore has expanded rapidly recently, and now has a total of 56 sites. It still expects to open 15 new restaurants this financial year.
