Funding secured for final phase of Lomeshaye Industrial Estate

Work is set to begin on the final phase of Lomeshaye Industrial Estate in Nelson, Lancashire, after its owners secured more than £7m in funding.

The expansion is being led by Pearl2, a joint venture between Barnfield Investment Properties and Pendle Borough Council.

The partners have secured £6.2m in funding from the Lancashire Urban Development Fund, which is managed by igloo. Alongside this investment, Pearl2 has secured an additional £1m from the Growing Places Fund, managed by the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership.

The scheme will provide a 100,000 sq ft facility to be built by Barnfield Construction.

The facility has been prelet to online retailer Limitless Digital Group, which is expanding operations from its Burnley headquarters.
