Furniture Land transformation planned

886-902 High Road, London CGI 570p

Turnhold Properties is planning to transform a vacant Furniture Land store in north London into a £20m housing development.

Creating a new five-storey building with 60 flats and ground floor offices are part of the proposals for 886-902 High Road, N12, submitted to Barnet council.

Turnhold purchased the 36,000 sq ft building for around £8m from Jardine Properties last year.

A decision on the scheme is expected in April.

Thomson Currie represented Turnhold; Jardine Properties was represented by Robert Irving Burns.
