Future Leaders: Creating change

The future of the real estate industry lies not just in bringing gender balance but in making itself a truly inclusive sector that attracts and retains talent from all walks of life.

In EG’s attempt to provide a helping hand to the sector, the latest iteration of our award-winning Future Leaders programme showcases individuals already working in the sector from across a range of underrepresented groups.

Our challenge to them is to show the rest of world just how welcoming real estate can be and the rest of the industry how vital it is that it listens to every voice.

In just over six weeks’ time, the latest cohort of EG Future Leaders will be putting into practice everything they have learnt from the expert training that Ginger Leadership Communications has put them through as they stand up on stage at the British Museum with no notes and deliver their hard-hitting Ted-style talk.

For all eight – Robin Didier, Tanya Coen-D’Arcy, Clare Grimes, Georgina Watt, Jennifer Offord, Deborah Green, Zaman Sheikh and Alexandra Woolmore – this will be their chance to showcase what property can and should be.

All eight want to make a difference. All eight want to share a story that creates change. And if they are anywhere near as spectacular as the two cohorts that came before them, an emotional and impactful night can be guaranteed.
