Galliard appoints head of strategic partnerships

Galliard Homes has appointed a head of strategic partnership to expand the business in the south-west of England.

After 20 years at Galliard, George Baffoe-Djan has been promoted to the position, with a mandate to secure new land and partnership opportunities in the region, while also overseeing construction and sales.

London’s largest private residential developer, Galliard Homes has spent the past five years growing its portfolio in Birmingham with joint venture partner Apsley House Capital. The pair have committed £500m to regeneration projects, aiming to deliver 2,250 homes.

The developer has projects in Bristol and Bath, and hopes to broaden the offering in these cities and further into Exeter. Galliard has previously teamed up with Acorn Property Group to develop Brooks Dye Works in the St Werburghs district of Bristol.

Don O’Sullivan, chief executive of Galliard Homes, said: “At Galliard we are focused on supporting and retaining the best in the business, and George’s career trajectory from graduate trainee to leading our south-west portfolio is testament to this.”
