Galliard Homes’ sale of one-bedroom studios in Hounslow, west London, attracted a queue of 200 hopeful buyers, some of whom waited overnight.
The developer offered the homes at a price of £199,000, well below the average for a one-bedroom flat in the area. The homes were offered on a first come, first served basis, as part of Galliard’s Get on the Ladder scheme.
The homes are due to be completed in 2017.
