Demand for flats converted from offices seems insatiable. Over the launch weekend, Galliard Homes sold 78 of the 81 first phase apartments at its White House conversion on London’s South Bank. Fifteen buyers camped overnight and nearly 3,000 viewed the flats, which are being developed jointly with Frogmore Estates and Fairview New Homes. Apartments sold ranged from a £115,000 one-bedroom unit to a £1.5m stateroom apartment. When finished, the conversion will provide 359 home.
