Galliard Homes is in the process of signing the government’s building safety repairs contract, leaving five developers on the “non-compliance” list.
The developer confirmed that it will sign the self-remediation contract, which is being used by levelling up secretary Michael Gove to oblige developers to pay to fix “unsafe buildings”.
Galliard Homes posted on social media today (27 March): “Galliard Homes will always uphold the principle that leaseholders should not have to pay for life-critical fire safety issues.
“We are in the process of signing the developer remediation contract and will be sharing it with @luhc @michaelgove tomorrow.”
Just five developers remain on the “non-compliance” list: Abbey Developments, Avant, Dandara, Rydon Homes and Emerson Group’s Jones Homes.
