Galliard opens Hong Kong office to encourage buyers to London

Galliard Homes has opened a sales centre in Hong Kong as part of efforts to drive Hong Kong and mainland Chinese buyer investment into London’s new homes market.

The office, in the Jubilee Centre in the Wan Chai district on Hong Kong island, includes interactive TVs with virtual reality headsets showcasing the company’s UK schemes

Galliard has residential development under way in the UK with a GDV of £3.44bn, including 6,392 new homes. The company recently sold the penthouse floor of its TCRW Soho apartment scheme on Oxford Street to a Chinese billionaire for £21.4m, the most expensive home ever sold in the West End.

The sales centre is led by business development manager Chrissy Yan, who said: “After focusing so much on Hong Kong over the last 30 years, we decided in early 2021 to elevate our service even further by creating a fixed base on the ground in Hong Kong to facilitate the needs of existing clients in that part of the world.”
