Galliard Homes is to submit planning permission for a scheme in Birmingham having secured an £8.6m loan from OakNorth.
It will use the loan to acquire a 254,400 sq ft vacant site in that formerly housed Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College and plans to convert it into a mixed-use scheme.
Galliard will work with Apsley House on the development.
The UK privately owned residential property developer has worked with Galliard on several large-scale projects in the past.
In August, the pair gained consent for 379 homes at the Timber Yard development in Birmingham’s Southside.
