Galliford Try Partnerships continues growth of North West division

 

protocols-handshakeHousing and regeneration specialist Galliford Try Partnerships has appointed a new build manager to its North West team.

Martin Sharkey has joined the company having previously held the position of build manager at Bellway Homes for over two years. With over 25 years’ experience in the housing industry, Sharkey will be responsible for overseeing the development of sites across the North West.

Sharkey will be responsible for planning and coordinating projects.

The Warrington-based division also promoted Gary Bailey, who has worked for the company since 2014 on the New Brunswick PFI regeneration project, to build manager for the North West region.

Senior site manager John Mooney, who joined Galliford Try from Countryside Properties in April this year, has been promoted to build manager.

Brendan Blythe, managing director at Galliford Try Partnerships North West, said: “It’s been a great year for the company. We have continued to widen our offering across the North West and we are delighted to have expanded our team further to help us to deliver more new homes across the region. Martin is highly experienced within the housing and regeneration sector and along with Gary and John, will play a significant role in helping us to bring more sites to market in 2017.”

Galliford Try Partnerships North West was set up in 2015 having previously been part of Galliford Try Construction. As well as having contracts with councils and housing associations in the region, Galliford Try Partnerships markets its speculative developments under the Linden Homes North West banner.

Following a year of rapid growth, the company is now delivering new homes across on 10 sites across the North West of England and North Wales.
