Galliford Try has reached a development agreement with the Greater London Authority to deliver the £380m Silvertown Way scheme in Canning Town, E17.
The scheme will include 1,100 mixed tenure homes across 11 blocks to the south of the Royal Docks.
The project is being handled as a joint venture between Galliford Try, Thames Valley Housing Association and Fizzy Living.
Galliford Try executive chairman Greg Fitzgerald said: “As well as being a hugely significant project for our company, Silvertown Way will be a flagship regeneration project for East London, and we are committed to providing high-quality housing of all tenures for the local community.”
