Gant has signed up to make its debut in Leeds where it will open a new shop at the £165m Victoria Gate development later this year.
It is taking 2,475 sq ft of space which will be split over ground and first floor.
It will be joining brands including British menswear retailer Hackett, Anthropologie, Cos, & Other Stories, The White Company, and fine dining international restaurant group D&D.
Robin Dobson, director retail development at Hammerson, said: “Attracting new brands to Leeds reinforces the perception of the city as a vibrant northern hub that is on course to become a best-in-class retail, leisure and dining destination.”
Fergus Patterson, managing director of Gant UK & Ireland, added: “Leeds featured highly on our acquisition list and the quality of the development itself, along with the presence of other premium brands, made Victoria Gate a compelling proposition.”
