Gap is planning to bring its Banana Republic store to the UK next year.
It will open an outlet in Regent Street, in the West End of London.
Hennes & Mauritz is also planning to open its first store under its new brand COS in the same street in March. It has ten more in the pipeline across the UK and Europe.
