Garden room company Green Retreats has struck a deal to expand its home at Patrizia’s Westcott Venture Park, in Buckinghamshire.
The company will take a further 65,000 sq ft space on a 10-year lease at Building 6000, a 120,000 sq ft factory and production space that Patrizia Hanover Property Unit Trust received planning permission for in November.
Green Retreats already leases 50,000 sq ft across two properties at the park. The latest prelet has been agreed at a rental of £550,000 per annum.
Patrizia will invest £6m in the latest phase of the development, while Green Retreats will add a further £1m.
Green Retreats managing director Roy Wetherall said: “One of the reasons we chose to base the business at Westcott was because of the room for expansion. We have expanded three or four times, and each time the park has been able to accommodate our growth.”
Rod Mordey, asset manager at Westcott Venture Park, added: “We continue with our ambitious development plans, investing in the park’s future in order to retain and attract more businesses to this thriving community.”
