Signature Development, owned by former Manchester United footballer Gary Neville and his father Neville Neville, has re-submitted plans for a 6,000 sq ft restaurant in Salford, Greater Manchester.
The two-storey scheme would be built on the site of a rugby club social club, close to Swinton railway station.
Signature first submitted plans for the restaurant in January, but they were turned down despite being recommended for approval by planners. Neighbours objected on the grounds of parking, traffic and potential noise issues.
Council officers are again recommending the scheme for approval following ammendments to the application, including increased car parking provision.
