Nightclub business Gatecrasher has set its sights on a global expansion after completing a ?pre-pack administration this week.
Duff and Phelps was appointed administrator to the company after it was unable to pay debts, including £3m to Barclays and £500,000 to HM Revenue & Customs.
The group, which is now operating as a new company, Gatecrasher (Birmingham) Ltd, plans to open clubs in New York, Singapore, London and Miami.
It also plans to revamp its existing Birmingham and Nottingham sites, while its Watford venue was recently redeveloped. Its Leeds venue is now expected to close.
