Developer Gazeley is to speculatively develop a 360,000 sq ft distribution unit on Merseyside.
The building, a joint venture with Met Life, will be constructed at Gazeley’s new G.Park Liverpool, formerly known as
Gazeley purchased the 46.3-acre site from United Utilities Property Solutions late last year.
Nigel Godfrey, development director at Gazeley, said: “The site can offer a full range of accommodation uses and with a working population of around 1.5m,
G.Park Liverpool has planning permission for more than 700,000 sq ft of development, which can be arranged over three individual development plots.
Units are available at rents around £4.50 per sq ft.
Gazeley and MetLife announced a strategic joint venture partnership in 2004 and have completed projects at sites including Magna Park Lutterworth, G.Park Hemel Hempstead, Dagenham and G.Park Bedford.
