Global bank GCA Altium has agreed a deal to take 5,600sq ft in Schroder Real Estate’s No 1 Spinningfields in Manchester.
The bank will move in June from its current offices on the fifth floor of Belvedere, Booth Street, into the ninth floor of the 19-storey No 1 Spinningfields development.
The move follows GCA Altium’s recent expansion of the business in Manchester.
The firm joins Moneysupermarket.com (which will occupy two floors in the building later this year) as the two latest tenants announced.
Jourdan Rajwan, investment manager at Schroder Real Estate, said: “We are delighted to add another brilliant tenant to complement the mix at No 1 Spinningfields, following hot on the heels of Moneysupermarket.com.
“The building has a diverse tenant mix and continues to attract top talent form both outside the city and from within, offering best-in-class office space, amenity and connectivity.”
In 2017, Schroders bought No 1 Spinningfields from Allied London for £200m.
Norton Rose advised Schroder Real Estate on the deal; Cushman & Wakefield is joint agent for No 1 Spinningfields, alongside OBI Property.
