Ellen Brunsberg has been appointed president and chief executive of GE Capital Real Estate Europe, she replaces Lennart Sten, who is retiring.
Brunsberg was made managing director of GE’s UK platform 12 months ago.
She joined the company in 2012 as capital markets leader for GE Capital’s EMEA and Real Estate units.
Last year she led the buyout of Deutsche Postbank’s £1.4bn UK loan book. Brunsberg was jointly ranked ninth in the Estates Gazette 2014 Power List.
